Exeter CVS is an independent local development agency that has been at the heart of the voluntary and community sector in the city since 1947.
This website gives information about our services, learning opportunities, volunteering opportunities and projects.
We provide:
- Training - we are one of the largest providers of voluntary sector learning and development in the South West.
- Services & Support - practical help including meeting rooms and office support.
- Exeter Volunteer Centre - matches volunteers and groups to their mutual benefit.
- Information and advice - on fundamental issues to help your organisation, from setting up a new group to managing effective meetings and many other matters.
- News on the voluntary and community sector
- Networking - we provide links to the city's strategic partnerships.

Exeter CVS' membership covers many of the voluntary, community and statutory organisations in the city. We are members of the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA), the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), Volunteering England and Community Matters.
